Intermediate Club (general ages 8-12):
Cost: $120 per child per 4 week session, practice 2 days a week
Unlimited Rental Equipment: $15 for one month
EFT Cost: $100 per month (add-on rentals $10)
Times: Mon. and Thurs. 4:30 – 6:00pm
Children enrolled in this club will have experience climbing in the gym and are interested in developing their skills on the wall as well as their knowledge of the systems involved in indoor climbing. The concepts taught in this class are as follows:
-Belaying, Goal setting, Route ratings
-Non-intuitive climbing movements (mantles, heel hooks, back stepping)
-Diverse climbing: bouldering, traversing, crack
-Belayer-climber communication: special circumstances
-Intermediate vocabulary
-Pacing and steady breathing
