About High Altitude Kids Club
Thank you for your interest and participation in High Altitude Fitness’ After School Kids Club!
In order to provide a more nurturing, fine-tuned learning environment for our increasing enrollment, our current sessions will offer a smaller student-instructor ratio in classes of 8 children or less. We will also be providing different classes designed for differing experience and ability levels.
Each session includes a month-long membership; children can come climb in the gym outside club times to climb, provided they have adult supervision.
Our kids club is an ongoing monthly program.
If your child is interested and you plan on signing up for additional sessions, look into our Kids Club EFT membership for discounted monthly rates.
Kids programming will be organized as follows:
Junior Climbing Club (ages 5 – 7)
Climbing Club (ages 7-10)
Junior Club and Climbing Club each meet once a week, a total of four times a month. These are times for younger children in their appropriate age groups to receive supervised climbing time, including fun and engaging games and climbing-focused activities. Transportation from Incline Elementary to High Altitude can be provided, depending on the day, by school staff or H.A.F. staff.
Intermediate Club (general ages 8-12)
Advanced Club (general ages 10-16)
As climbers in the Junior Club and Club progress in skill, demonstrate they have learned the basic skills of indoor climbing and display a degree of dedication to the sport of rock climbing, they can move up into our upper tier of programs. Children as well as parents, should understand that the Intermediate and Advanced clubs are practice sessions focused on learning skills and skill set progression; classes involve less climbing time and more instruction-based interaction.
These clubs will meet twice a week, and kids will have the benefit of their own H.A.F. membership for the time they are enrolled.
For the the children who need one-on-one time to work through a specific issue or for those wanting to learn how to push their ability limits, private, one hour long sessions can be the key to hone technique and movement. Contact H.A.F. to set a time and date.
Kids Club EFT Membership
If your child plans on participating in our programs month after month, the Kids Club EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) membership is perfect for you. Your little climber will have all the benefits of normal enrollment at a discounted, reoccurring, rate (two month commitment).
