Hello! My name is Megan Alexander and I grew up in the beautiful Zephyr Cove area of Lake Tahoe. I moved over to North Lake Tahoe last spring in order to finish out my last year of school at Sierra Nevada College.I am studying Outdoor Adventure Leadership/Psychology and soon after plan on getting my teaching credential and masters in education. I grew up with a free spirited mother and an outdoorsman of a father who have both taught me how incredible our natural world is and that the outdoors is something we should always respect, enjoy, and understand. I hope to share that same knowledge by eventually guiding children into the backcountry and helping them become more confident within themselves and with the area around them.
I really enjoy rock climbing, kayaking, backpacking, snowboarding and camping, anything that challenges my mind and body and allows me to enjoy the beauty around us. An ultimate perfect day in Tahoe would be to ride powder runs with blue bird skies, or cruising around on a boat on a hot summer day!
