Growing up in Modesto, California, Maggie wasn’t much of an outdoors person but that has changed in the year and a half since she moved to Incline Village. Although not the most rugged when it comes to roughing it in the outdoors, you can find her skiing in the winter and (occasionally) camping and hiking in the summer. Fitness is a priority as sports has been a constant part of her life. She played all different kinds of sports growing up and she turned that passion into a job after college. She was a sports journalist in Salt Lake City before she moved to Lake Tahoe.
Since moving here, her days are more about playing sports than covering them. A perfect day in Tahoe for her usually consists of a some beach volleyball. In the fall, she’ll play in three different volleyball leagues around the lake. Currently, she is looking for a women’s basketball league to play in.
